The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) is seeking an individual to serve as its Program and Policy Manager!

This full-time position is a unique opportunity to play a key role in programming and policy work at a small, dynamic, mission-driven agency. We work in a hybrid model, with limited time required in the office, and allow for reasonable flexibility in working hours.

The Program and Policy Manager:

  • Coordinates all necessary research, administrative, and programmatic support for projects focused on inclusive community living for Georgians with developmental disabilities, including a statewide portfolio of inclusive post-secondary education projects.
  • Carries out Council activities such as supporting grant and project development and implementation e.g. conducting research for policy analysis, providing technical assistance to contractors, providing contract budget monitoring and data analysis; fielding consumer calls; and collaborating with fellow agencies, councils, and committees.
  • Researches existing statewide and national policies and practices around systems that serve people with developmental disabilities and helps craft well-founded recommendations for change.
  • Requires strong teamwork skills and knowledge of similar program operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. This position may require some travel and occasional weekend meetings.

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000. Applications are due by 11:59 PM on November 6, 2024.
